Bed and Breakfast

Friday 17th June 2011 I was in Whitley Bay at The Rex Hotel, helping on a film project directed by a friend of mine called Chris Andrew.

My job on the project was as a Dolly and Grip Operator, I also did a little Clapperboard work and a brief bit of work with a light.

The Track and Dolly shot; which included the use of a Jib, was a bit tricky for the DOP Steven Sinclair, mostly impart due to the clambering about he had to do, but from the look of one of the shots of  a sequence, I think he and I pulled of what we were trying to achieve.

There was an actress playing the part of a prostitute, on top of the lead male actor on a bed; what we were doing was to bring the camera toward and over then end of the bed, moving upwards and along it till we got to see the female actress's lower back, which had a rather nice fake tattoo which said Delicious, which we lingered on with the camera for a moment, before she got off the male actor, for this being my first sex scene I think I went rather well.
